Cardiac rehabilitation program
The cardiac rehabilitation program at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital promotes heart health through positive lifestyle changes. The exercise component focuses on safe aerobic workouts and strength training. An educational component emphasizes blood pressure and blood glucose control, sensible eating, stress management and smoking cessation. The program is open to individuals dealing with:
Congestive heart failure
Peripheral artery disease (PAD)
Risks associated with heart disease
Recovery from a heart attack
Recovery from cardiac surgery
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital's cardiac rehabilitation program also offers EECP, a noninvasive procedure that increases coronary blood flow to reduce the symptoms of angina. (A physician's referral is needed.)
Visiting hours
General visiting hours are
11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. Hours may vary in each medical unit. In consideration of other patients, we ask that visitors be limited to two at a time.

There is a large selection of gifts available at our Gift Shop, located in the main lobby (Blue entrance) of the hospital.
